<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of image quality due to the occurrence of irregularities in stripes in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: An exposure head is moved by a predetermined amount in a writing main scanning direction corresponding to a color of a writing image based on image data (#6, #9, #11) and the image data is shifted corresponding to the moving amount (#7, #10, #12). As a result, it is possible not to form an image of each color by an identical light emitting element on an identical line and to make irregularities in stripes inconspicuous even when light quantities and emission characteristics of adjacent light emitting elements are varied in the case where an image is formed by superposing color images. It is further possible to prevent occurrence of shift among the color images due to movement of the exposure head.</p> |
