PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hardening agent composition, which can sufficiently secure its serviceability for production of large-size formed products and for lining works, and greatly reduce quantity of a monomer remaining in FRP products and linings formed at normal temperature, and to provide a hardening method and hardened products of a unsaturated polyester or a vinyl ester resin using the same composition. SOLUTION: The hardening agent composition contains a ketone peroxide and a peroxy ester represented by the formula (R is a straight-chain or branched 1-6C alkyl) in a ketone peroxide/peroxy ester in a wt. ratio of 10/90 to 50/50. The method uses the above composition for hardening an unsaturated polyester or a vinyl ester resin. The product is obtained by the above method.
