MEDICINE FOR THERAPY BY HEAVY CORPUSCULAR RAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject medicine capable of exhibiting excellent effect by combined use in therapy combinedly used with heavy corpuscular ray by constituting the medicine of VEGF/VPF antagonist. SOLUTION: This medicine comprises VEGF/VPF antagonist. The VEGF/VPF antagonist is preferably anti-VEGF/VPF monoclonal antibody and the anti-VEGF /VPF monoclonal antibody is further preferably an antibody reacting with at least one of KPSCVPLMR, SFLQHNKCECRP and KCECRPKKDRAR which are each a part of amino acid sequence of VEGF/VPF. An effective amount of VEGF/VPF antagonist administered as a composition of a proper diluent with a carrier is 0.1-100 mg/kg weight/day and the antagonist is administered daily or once every several days or once a fortnight in one to several divided portions.
