PURPOSE: A basic pharmaceutical composition for oral with decreased irritation for NRT(Nicotine Replacement Therapy) is provided, which masks irritative taste of nicotine and its salts by using glycerine ester compound, and enhances administration adaptation. CONSTITUTION: A process for the making of nicotine preparation for oral(a tablet) with decreased irritation comprises: preparing nicotine and Glyceryl palmitostearate compound(1:10 weight ratio) by mixing, shaking in water bath, and cooling slowly; pulverizing the nicotine-Glyceryl palmitostearate compound into powder; mixing the nicotine-Glyceryl palmitostearate compound(a main ingredient), xylitol and stebioside(sweetening agents), sorbitol(a stabilizer), sodium carbonate and sodium hydrogen carbonate(buffers), menthol(a perfume), magnesium stearate(a lubricant); shaping the compound into a tablet for oral. The Glyceryl palmitostearate used in the tablet is PRECIROL ATO5(atomized Glyceryl palmitostearate), which is contained in the quantity of 0.6-20wt.% based on the total weight of the tablet.
