PURPOSE: A preparation for applying to dental caries is provided, which contains glycerin and glycerin ester compound to block bad taste of drug; and contains xylitol showing refreshment, so prevents dental caries when be taken before sleeping. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of tablets for applying to dental caries comprises: mixing ibuprofen(a kind of drug administrated before or among sleeping, or a kind of drug for inhibition of vomiting, or a kind of drug for cleansing mouth or prevention of bacteria in a mouth) and glyceryl palmitostearate in the ratio of 1:0.62; stirring while boiling in water bath(60°C) for 30minutes, and cooling slowly to get even compound; pulverizing the prepared compound, screening through No.50 porous screen, and eliminating large coagulations; adding other additives(mannitol, xylitol, strawberry flavor, hard castor oil, magnesium stearate), and anhydrous-mixing for 10minutes in a mixer; filtering with a No.30 filter; and striking with a punch to get the tablets for oral.
