摘要 PURPOSE: A forgery identifier in electronic optical form is provided to combine two detection methods by using a small UV(Ultra Violet) lamp and a magnetic detection head, to produce it as a portable device, and to selectively operate the methods in accordance to the need to electronically and optically identify the authenticity of paper money, personal checks, coupons, and credit cards. CONSTITUTION: A forgery identifier in electronic optical form is composed of operation, detection, and display. In order to conduct electronic identification, a user holds an identifier's body and presses a magnetic head switch(9). A power circuit plate(6)'s output electric power is inputted to a magnetic head operation circuit plate(7), the magnetic head operation circuit plate is operated and switched over, and a flasher for power display(11) is turned on to indicate the device's operation status. The user rubs a magnetic head(2) on a paper money's magnetic area, and if an electric current output that exceeds a specified level is detected, an authenticity identification flasher(12) is lighted and a specific sound is output through a speaker to inform the user of the bill's authenticity. In order to conduct optical identification using a UV lamp, the user presses a lamp switch(10) and contacts the lower part of the device to the paper money. If the bill is authentic, a fluorescent material that is printed on the appropriate area reacts to the UV light(3) and displays a bright fluorescent color.
