PURPOSE: A fluorescent display tube is provided to improve the brightness defective by preventing a mesh deflection while a degree of freedom of a pattern and mesh design are improved. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent display tube includes a vacuum vessel, an anode(18), a plurality of filaments(20) and a grid electrode(22). When a voltage is applied to a cathode(20), the grid electrode(14) and the anode(18) through each of rid lines(30), the filaments of the cathode(20) are heated, and then hot electrons are emitted. The emitted hot electrons are accelerated and diffused by the grid electrode(14). A mesh fixing device(28) prevents a divided mesh(24) of the grid electrode(14) from being deflected. The hot electrons are uniformly provided to a fluorescent substance of the anode(18). Accordingly, the fluorescent substance uniformly emits light so that it is possible to improve the brightness defective due to the deflection of a mesh.
