PURPOSE: A multi-stage starter is provided to reduce energy costs. CONSTITUTION: A shaft bar having a connection portion is provided with a lift. A vertical propulsion body having a push rod mounted thereto, is provided with an elasitic member(13) fixed on the inner top of the vertical propulsion body. A support box(19) for supporting the vertical propulsion body, has an outer support plate mounted with an elasitic plate(16). Connection lines(14,15) are connected to the elasitic plate so as to allow smooth vertical movement caused by compression and expansion. A vertical movement application point(20) is arranged at the proper position. The vertical movement of a vertically moving plate(8-1) which moves by the force from the push rod installed to the propulsion body, is converted into a rotational movement through a converting unit(10). The number of vertical movement application points, length of the lift, position of an upper limit switch(11) and a lower limit switch(11-A) exert influence on the speed of vertical movement. |
