PURPOSE: A door frame of an elevator and a construction method thereof are provided to improve productivity by performing a construction work without a stop even while replacing water. CONSTITUTION: An elevator door opens/closes an elevator(1) as the elevator stops on a certain position. A guide groove(210) is formed on an upper part to make a guide shoe(110) movable. A door rail(200) forms a bracket settlement stand(220) in a recessed groove on one side. A lower end of a gate(300) is fixed on a bracket to be fixed on the bracket settlement stand. One side of a material dividing stand(400) is inserted in the bracket settlement stand. A waterproofing plate insertion groove(410) is formed on the other upper portion to readily insert a waterproofing plate(420).
