The invention concerns a data transmission installation comprising user stations (2), a managing station (1) for generating a primary data flow, a high throughput transmission link, for sending digital primary audio, video and information data, wherein are inserted open-ended and dynamically variable data between the managing station and the user stations, while each station (2) is connected to the managing station through a return wire transmission link (4) and arranged to enable the user to send secondary data to the managing station. Each user station (2) comprises interface means enabling its user to send to the managing station (1), by way of secondary data, a station identifier and an instruction, and the managing station (1) is designed to selectively modify the open-ended data on the basis of some at least of the instructions received.
