PURPOSE: The method for processing a network management message on a common line network is provided to efficiently manage the common line network, by determining an erroneous message on the common line network and the message for the connection to network of another company. CONSTITUTION: A signal link and a link set are monitored, and thereby it is identified if the message received by a signal transfer point(STP) and a gateway has been transmitted from the network of another company(S1). If the received message is applied from the network of another company, it is determined whether the received message is related to the management of the networks of a message transfer part and a signaling connection control part(S2). It is checked if the received message includes the information recorded in the network of one company(S3). If the received message is related to a network management message and to the network of one company, the received message is removed(S4). The information of the signal link and the link set related to the received message are reported to an operator's terminal(S6).
