PURPOSE: Assorted feed having charcoal is provided to neutralize or remove heavy metals, to prevent diseases, to restrain ammonium gas in the shed of cows or pigs and to improve quality by adding 0.2-3% of charcoal powder containing several minerals to the fertilizer. CONSTITUTION: Assorted feed having charcoal is manufactured by adding 0.2-3% of charcoal powder in the raw material of the fertilizer. The particle diameter of the charcoal powder is less than 1mm for matching with the fertilizer. The charcoal powder absorbs heavy metals, pesticides such as DDT, malathon, parathion and dieldrin, drugstuffs such as cocaine, opium, morphine and nicotine, inorganic substances such as mercury, chloride, iron, lead, silver and phosphate, bacterium viruses such as colon bacilli and yellow staphylococci, and a carcinogenic substance like benzopyrene. The assorted feed having the charcoal powder increases immune effect in injecting vaccine due to the decrease of respiratory diseases. The charcoal contains 85 wt.% of carbon, 10 wt.% of moisture, 3 wt.% of minerals and 2 wt.% of volatile powder. The minerals in the charcoal are calcium, potassium, iron, phosphate, sodium, copper, zinc, manganese, magnesium, chrome and molybdenum. The assorted feed having the charcoal improves meat quality because the charcoal adsorbs and discharges fats and cholesterol.
