PURPOSE: A portable electronic device with a control plate possible to adjust the position is provided to locate the control plate in a comfortable position according to the electronic device's direction for improving work efficiency of the user. CONSTITUTION: A portable electronic device with a control plate possible to regulate the position consists of a base, a control plate, and a member. The base is equipped with a housing, and a system unit. The control plate is slid on the outer side of the housing, and switches for generations of input signals are installed. And the member plays the role that connects the switch of the control plate with the system unit. The member is equipped with contacts and a rail. The contacts are connected to the system unit. The rail is formed under the plate, and is connected to the contacts.
