PURPOSE: A die forging method for a pipe joint is provide to efficiently produce pipe joints by die forging after pre-molding a material in similar shape to a forging die and inner volume. CONSTITUTION: A nonferrous metal material is preheated to be forged as a pipe joint. The material is pre-molded in a similar shape to the shape and the thickness of a final product and the pre-molded material is put into die chamber to be forged. Thus, more than two materials are molded by one press process, then productivity and efficiency are increased with thin loss pieces.
