PURPOSE: A quiz broadcasting system and method is provided to prevent an abrupt traffic increase of a server caused by accesses of a plurality of clients over the internet and to increase educational effect and profits according to advertisements and increase of audience. CONSTITUTION: A quiz broadcasting system comprises a central process module(201), an internet interface(202), a program transmission module(205), a synchronization clock generator(206), a quiz result processor(203), an encoder(204), and a plurality of databases(207,208,209,210,211). The central process module(201) controls the overall execution of the quiz broadcasting. The internet interface(202) forms a data transmission path with user terminals according to an internet access by satisfying a TCP/IP protocol. The program transmission module(205) transmits the program for enabling the user to participate in the quiz at a user terminal. The synchronization clock generator(206) makes a concurrent transmission of the quiz to the participants to give them a fair chance. The quiz result processor(203) receives quiz answers, checks if the answers are right or wrong, and counts points based on the answer check result. The databases include a participant management database(207), a question database(208), a question package database(209), an advertisement database(210), and a broadcasting schedule database(211).
