PURPOSE: A sound absorbing material with a light weight is provided to save manufacturing cost, emit far infrared ray and anion and regulate humidity by using environmental affinity materials such as rice straw, rice hull, loess and active carbon. CONSTITUTION: The sound absorbing material is prepared by the following steps: preparing loess solution by mixing loess with water in a ratio 3:7; soaking rice hull and 5-10m/m size of rice straw into a loess solution for 10-20min.; mixing 25-40% of rice straw, 25-40% of rice hull, 15-25% of loess, 3-7% of active carbon and 10-15% of foaming agent.
