PURPOSE: A method is provided to reduce fuel consumption, improve effectiveness engine room, and lengthen the useful life of an engine. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner compressor(B) is disconnected from an engine, and a motor is installed at a seal plate(A) portion. The compressor has a compressor shaft directly connected to a shaft of the motor, to thereby driving the compressor by the motor. The motor is driven by one of the three methods. First, a booster for enhancing power output is installed between a battery and the motor. Second, a generator is directly connected to the air conditioner compressor so as to drive the motor. Third, an inverter(DC-to-AC) is connected to the battery power so as to utilize an AC motor. Thus, the compressor is driven by the motor using a battery as a power source, instead of being driven by an engine power output.
