BOTH-SIDES LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY IN CELLULAR PHONE WITH FOLDER TYPE

PURPOSE: The both-sides liquid crystal display(LCD) in a cellular phone with a folder type is provided to make it possible to check the operation states of the cellular phone in either opened and closed state of a folder of the cellular phone, by installing LCDs on both sides of the folder. CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit(CPU)(10) controls the overall operations of the cellular phone, and outputs an LCD drive controlling signal. A keypad(12) is provided with numeric keys and specific function keys. An LCD driving part(14) receives the LCD drive controlling signal from the CPU(10), and thereby displays the operation states of the cellular phone and dialing data on the first LCD(16) and the second LCD(18). A radio frequency processor(20), controlled by the CPU(10), modulates the voice signal inputted from a microphone to a radio signal, and demodulates the radio signal applied via an antenna.
