PURPOSE: A method for making payments to internet contents services is provided to simplify the payment of charged internet contents services, to supply convenience and safety by enabling the user make payments without being restrained to time and place and minimizing the exposure of personal information. CONSTITUTION: A method for making payments to internet contents services is composed of registration, accumulation, usage, and payment. A user registers as a member of a web site operated by a payment server(S200). The registered user uses an ordinary wired telephone or a mobile communication device to connect to the ARS(Automatic Response System) and to accumulate a reserve fund(S210). The user connects to the web site, which is operated by a contents server, and selects the desired content desired to access(S220). Once the selection is made, the payment server receives the appropriate payment amount from the user's reserve fund and stores the related information in a user DB(S230). After the payment has been received, the selected contents are provided to the user's screen through the web page(S240). The communications company requests the user for a lump sum communication service fee from the reserve fund, receives the requested payment, and settles the reserved fund amount with the payment server operator and the contents usage fee with the contents provider(S250).
