PURPOSE: A briquette stove with air block member is provided to achieve a uniform combustion of briquette while improving heat efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A briquette stove comprises an upper main body(1) of the stove; a lower main body(2) having a lower recessed portion(15) formed along the periphery of the lower portion of the lower main body of the stove; an air block member(16) installed on the lower recessed portion so as to prevent an air from being raised along a side passage(18); and a crucible furnace(20) having three inner spaces for accommodating briquette, and which is installed on the air block member. The air block member has a hole formed at the center of the air block member for insertion of briquette. The air block member is formed of a casting with a thickness of 2.5 to 3mm. The crucible furnace is installed in such a manner that a gap of approximately 1 to 3cm is maintained between the top of the furnace and an upper case of the briquette stove, and the top of the crucible furnace is higher than the surface of the uppermost briquette by 5 to 15cm. The air block member is installed to have a spacing of approximately 5 to 10cm from a lower stopper plate(12) where the lowermost briquette is to be positioned. The air block member prevents the hot air from moving along the side passage, and allows the air to move upward along the path of the crucible furnace. Therefore, briquette is burnt with uniformity, improving heat efficiency.
