The safety valve (1) consists of a hollow body (2) containing a spring (7) interacting at one end with a shut-off valve (9). It also has a spring pressure regulator (8) in the form of a perforated ring screwed into the housing, a fusible spring release element (12), and an ejectable stopper (20). The release element is a ring of plastic or a metal alloy such as bismuth/ lead, and a sensor linked to the stopper is connected to an indicator light on the vehicle dashboard.
