APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING SYNCHRONIZATION OF OFDM/CDMA SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for obtaining synchronization of an OFDM/CDMA(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing/code division multiple access) system is provided to perform frame synchronization and sampling clock synchronization at the same time. CONSTITUTION: An FFT(fast Fourier transform,119) performs FFT of an input digital frame through plural sub-carriers. A pilot detector(121) detects pilot carriers interpolated into every FFT-processed frame symbol and measures time phase difference therebetween. A phase difference operator(125) obtains time phase difference between the pilot carriers of each pilot symbol. An FFT window controller controls frame synchronization through symbol timing offset while a PLL(phase locked loop,123) controls sampling clock synchronization through sampling clock timing offset of the mean phase difference.
