PURPOSE: A power generation system utilizing vacuum is provided to obtain maximum power output from the minimum power input for driving a plunger pump. CONSTITUTION: A power generation system comprises an upper tank(10) and a lower tanks(20), a plunger pump(30) installed within the lower tank and which allows fluid to flow by a power applied from an external source, a transportation pipe(50) for connecting the outlet of the plunger pump and the upper tank so as to transport the fluid contained in the lower tank toward the upper tank, a power generating device(60) installed to the upper and lower tanks and which controls the fluid flow and generates power, an output shaft(70) installed within the upper tank and which outputs power to outside the tank, and a control unit(80) for controlling the plunger pump and the power generating device. The power generating device includes a cylinder(61) arranged at the upper tank; a piston(62) reciprocating within the cylinder; a connecting rod(63) for connecting the piston and the output shaft; a fluid suction valve(64) installed to the piston and which is opened/shut off such that the fluid in the upper tank flows into the cylinder; and a fluid outlet member(65) which is opened/shut off such that the fluid in the cylinder to flow into the lower tank. |
