PURPOSE: A gas bearing cooling structure of a turbo compressor is provided to prevent the thermal deformation of each bearing surface supporting load of radius direction and axial direction of a driving shaft, thereby improving the reliability of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A gas bearing cooling structure of a turbo compressor includes an airtight container communicatively forming compressing chambers and a motor chamber for mounting a driving motor between the compressing chambers, a driving shaft(100) combined with an actuator for transmitting a driving force, an impeller mounted on both end parts of the driving shaft for centrifugally compressing fluid in the compressing chambers, a bearing member(60) mounted inside of the airtight container for supporting vibration in radius direction and axial direction of the driving shaft, and a bearing bush for thrust(110) formed with a heat radiating part combined with the driving shaft to form a thrust bearing surface(62) with the bearing member and improving the cooling efficiency by widening the area contacting with the low temperature fluid in the rear part of the bearing surface. |
