PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating ozone(O3) for use in water supply and drainage, and sludge treatment or foods sterilization is provided, which is characterized in that several thermal radiating plates surrounding a dielectric quartz tube are installed to prevent the internal temperature of an ozone generating tube from elevating so that it is possible to be used in a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an ozone generating tube(1), that is, a dielectric quartz tube(10) whose inside is installed with a coil and whose circumference is surrounded by a copper plate(30) linking with several radiating plates(40) in a radial manner; a transformer generating high voltage; a case(90) with electronic parts, on which a cooling fan(50) is backside. Also, this apparatus designed for supplying ozone into water has a connecting tube(80) projecting outside through the ozone generating tube.
