PURPOSE: An upper plate of an experiment table and its preparation method are provided, which upper plate is resistant against chemicals such as acids, alkalis, salts and solvents and distortion and bending. CONSTITUTION: The upper plate comprises a gel coating layer which comprises 90-98 wt% of unsaturated acid-resistant resin, 1-5 wt% of silica, 2-8 wt% of liquid coloring agent containing carbon black powder, and a curing agent; a corner reinforcing layer which comprises 10-40 wt% of unsaturated ester resin, 60-90 wt% of quartz sand above degree No. 4, 1-5 wt% of carbon black, and a curing agent; a middle adhesive layer which comprises 20-50 wt% of unsaturated polyester resin, 60-90 wt% of quartz sand above degree No. 7, 1-5 wt% of carbon black, and a curing agent; a honey layer which comprises 8-25 wt% of unsaturated ester resin, 75-92 wt% of quartz sand below degree No. 7, 1-5 wt% of carbon black, and a curing agent; a honey coating layer which comprises 30-60 wt% of unsaturated ester resin, 40-70 wt% of quartz sand above degree No. 4, 1-5 wt% of carbon black, and a curing agent; and a final coating layer which comprises 40-60 wt% of unsaturated ester resin, 75-92 wt% of quartz sand above degree No. 7, 1-5 wt% of carbon black, and a curing agent.
