PURPOSE: A remote academic seminar management method is provided to open the academic seminar without limits of a time and space by using a communication network. CONSTITUTION: A remote academic seminar management method is composed of connection, transmission, and storage. A connector(21) is connected to various devices through the internet. An interface(22) transmits data provided by multiple devices to an appropriate device through the connector. A controller(23) identifies the inputted data through the interface and controls the appropriate device. A remote academic seminar processing device(24) is operated by the controller and processes academic seminar data such as the participants' presentation materials and response information. The remote academic seminar processing device is composed of an internet protocol department(241) that regulates the internet data transfer, a World Wide Web server(242) that transfers the desired data to the browser, a Common Gateway Interface(CGI) program(243) that exchanges the necessary information for executing remote academic seminars, and a data manager(244) that reads and provides the necessary data from the CGI program from the DB(25) and stores the inputted information in the DB. |
