PURPOSE: A device and method for managing the quality of service in a wireless communication system is provided to measure the quality of service, supplied to a terminal and a base station, in the base station, so that the quality of a wireless data service can be monitored in real time and calls for the terminal can be accepted according to the speech quality. CONSTITUTION: The first attenuator(12) connected to a base station(20) attenuates the level of a wireless communication signal outputted from the base station(20). The second attenuator(13) attenuates the level of a wireless communication signal outputted from a testing terminal(16). A noise generator(14) generates a CDMA interception signal or noise equivalent to the CDMA interception signal, and mixes the generated noise with the signal of the first attenuator(12), to provide the mixed signal to the testing terminal(16). A control management processor(17), connected to the testing terminal(16) and the base station(20), measures the speech quality of a signal transmitted between the testing terminal(16) and the base station(20), and performs external interface.
