摘要 PURPOSE: A semiconductor integrated circuit using a static random access memory as a buffer between a dynamic random access memory and a logic circuit is provided to improve function and reduce electric power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes first and second pad portions, an upper memory bank portion, a lower memory bank portion, a data path for a dynamic random access memory, a static random access memory portion, and a logic circuit. The first pad portion includes power supply pads for a dynamic random access memory. The upper memory bank portion at least includes one or more dynamic random access memory banks. The lower memory bank portion at least includes one or more dynamic random access memory banks. The data path for a dynamic random access memory gives and takes a data to the upper memory bank portion and the lower memory bank portion. The static random access memory portion gives and takes a data to the data path. The logic circuit is arranged in close to the static random access memory portion, and gives and takes a data to the static random access memory portion. The second pad portion is arranged in close to the logic circuit and includes power supply pads and input and output pads for the logic circuit.
