PURPOSE: A reverse rotation preventing structure is provided to prevent noise and component breakage by preventing reverse rotation caused by reverse flow of a high pressure refrigerant gas discharged during stoppage of compressor. CONSTITUTION: A rotational axis of a scroll type compressor has a taper groove(G) formed at an end of the rotational axis, and a moving pin(15) is inserted into the taper groove. The moving pin moves to an inside of the taper groove upon forward rotation of the rotational axis so as to allow the rotational axis to smoothly rotate, and moves to an outside of the taper groove upon reverse rotation of the rotational axis so as to serves as a wedge and prevent the reverse rotation of the axis. The taper groove having a predetermined length, is formed at the end of the rotational axis to be inserted into an axis insertion hole(3a) of a lower frame of the scroll type compressor. The moving pin has a predetermined diameter and is formed to be shorter than the length of the taper groove.
