PURPOSE: An air conditioner and method of manufacturing inorganic antibacterial agent is provided to achieve a comfort indoor environment by preventing bacterial infection. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner(1) for clarifying through a duct(20) the air introduced through a fan(10), and supplying the clarified air into a room, comprises at least one antibacterial filter(100) arranged within the duct and which clarifies the contaminated air introduced from the outside, an ultraviolet bulb(200) arranged between the antibacterial filters so as to enhance antibacterial function of the filter, and an inorganic antibacterial agent(300) coated onto an interior of the duct, and onto the antibacterial filter arranged within the duct, and which clarifies the contaminated air. The antibacterial filter is constituted by zeolite or activated carbon which is accommodated in a case made of a frame and a mesh. A method comprises the steps of adding water to 60 weight % TiO2, 38 weight % Ca, and 2 weight % Cl so as to obtain a light slurry, allowing the slurry to react at a temperature of 60 Deg.C for 12 hours, and performing calcination at a temperature of 550 Deg.C for 2 hours so as to obtain a granular Anataze-type photo catalyst.
