PURPOSE: A method for providing a calculation function is provided to perform a calculation processing function according to an operation demand of an external user by connecting a high performance computer to a network. CONSTITUTION: A calculation function providing system uses a high performance computer which is connected to a web server, a cluster server, and a calculation computer. External user receives a working to be performed. Usable information of the calculation computer is collected from the cluster server. The input working is distributed on the cluster server with reference to the collected information. Calculating the distributed work is performed by the calculation computer under the control of the cluster server. The working result is informed to the external user. Thereby, the calculation function providing system performs a calculation processing function according to an operation demand of an external user by connecting a high performance computer to a network.
