PURPOSE: Copper alloys and their preparation method are provided, to improve strength, repeated bending property, stress-corrosion cracking resistance and hot deformation property. CONSTITUTION: The copper alloys comprise 0.05-1.0 wt% of Cr; 0.2-0.8 wt% of Si; 0.1-0.5 wt% of Fe; 0.01-1.0 wt% of Mn; 0.1-1.0 wt% of Sn; 0.1-1.5 wt% of Ni; 0.005-0.01 wt% of Mg; 0.01-0.1 wt% of at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ag, Te and Zr; optionally 0.002-0.01 wt% of Se; and the balance of Cu. The method comprises the steps of preparing copper alloy ingot having the composition; hot rolling the ingot at 900-950 deg.C; maintaining the temperature at 850-900 deg.C for 30-60 min and cooling by 10 deg.C/sec or more for solution treatment; annealing the solution treated one at 500-650 deg.C; temper rolling the annealed one by carrying out break down at room temperature, annealing at 500-650 deg.C, intermediate rolling at room temperature, annealing at 500-650 deg.C, and finish rolling at room temperature; and reannealing the temper rolled one at 500-650 deg.C.
