PURPOSE: A cold storage food case is provided to maintain freshness of food by allowing the food case to have a thermometer. CONSTITUTION: A cold storage food case(1) is made up of a low foamed polystyrene resin, and comprises a receptacle(10), a thermometer(14), and a cover(20) for covering the receptacle. The receptacle has an opened side, and a thermometer inserting groove(12) and a scale(16) arranged at a side of an outer periphery of the receptacle. The thermometer is inserted into the thermometer inserting groove of the receptacle. A food stuff is accommodated into the food case showing the most suitable temperature for keeping the freshness of the food stuff, to thereby maintain the freshness of the food stuff in maximum. For a convenience of the food case arrangement, the cold storage food case is accommodated into a refrigerating compartment of a refrigerator, in such a manner that the thermometer is directly seen when the door of the refrigerating compartment is opened.
