<p>PURPOSE: A mobile communication system dynamically allocating channels and a CHU(CHannel card Unit) thereof are provided to separate the CHU processing subscriber signals from a base station and to configure the CHU in a base station controller, so that matters of installation cost and place can be solved and channels can be saved. CONSTITUTION: In a base station(1), an Rx front-end unit(RxFU,140) restricts the bands of high frequency signals of a mobile station received to a receiving antenna in a reverse link, and amplifies minute receiving signals. An up/down converter(UDCU,120) down-converts the high frequency signals received from the RxFU(140) in the reverse link into baseband signals, and up-converts the baseband signals into high frequency signals. An optic interface unit(OIU,130) modulates the baseband signals into optical signals in the reverse link, and modulate the optical signals into baseband signals in a forward link to transmit the modulated signals to the OIU(120). A linear-power amplifier unit(LPAU,110) receives multi channel high frequency signals received from the UDCU(120) in the forward link as one input, to simultaneously amplify the signals. A Tx front-end unit(TxFU,100) restricts the high frequency signals received from the LPAU(110) within a predetermined bandwidth, to radiate the signals to the public. In a base station controller(2), an optic interface unit(OIU,150) modulates the optical signals transmitted from the base station(1) in the reverse link into baseband signals, and modulated the baseband signals into optical signals in the reverse link.</p> |
