PURPOSE: An insulator cleaner is provided to clean a relatively large-size insulator and to allow a body frame to be separated from the insulator at a various angle. CONSTITUTION: An insulator cleaner(10) includes a pair of gripping arms(12) for rotatably gripping an insulator(11) at both sides thereof, a cleaning water supplying device(13) for supplying cleaning water into a surface of the insulator(11), a cleaning brush(14) for removing dirts from the surface of the insulator(11), a body frame(15) for accommodating the above elements, and an insulation rod(17) connected to the body frame(15). The body frame(15) has a groove shape and the first rotating rod(21) is installed between side frames(15b,15c) of the body frame(15). The cleaning water supplying device(13) has two water tanks(24) which is connected to each other by a connection member(23). A pair of arm supporters(18) are installed at both ends of a side frame(15a) of the body frame(15). A pair of pins(18f) are rotatably connected to one lead ends of the arm supporters(18). The gripping arm(12) is rotatably connected to the other lead end of the arm supporters(18).
