Aerosol generator for redispersion of substances present in the form sedimented dust comprises a container (1), a membrane oscillator (4) with an oscillating membrane (3), and a nozzle system (7) for production of a transport gas stream which is adjustable so that dust particles with a required concentration and size leave the aerosol generator through its outlet (7).
