PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a color filter substrate is provided to remove residues of materials used for forming color filters from a transparent substrate by carrying out surface treatment by radiating ultraviolet rays and infrared rays to the substrate before red, blue and green color filters are completely formed. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a color filter substrate includes the steps of preparing a transparent substrate(20) formed with black matrix stripes(22), and forming first to third color filters by coating color filter materials on the transparent substrate, patterning and curing the coated color filter materials, and repeating surface treatment of the substrate, wherein residues of the color filter materials are removed from an upper part of the transparent substrate by the surface treatment and the surface treatment is carried out by radiating ultraviolet rays and infrared rays on the substrate.
