PROCESS FOR PRODUCING NONSTRUCTURAL 5-1.2 PROTEIN OF HEPATITIS C VIRUS(HCV)

PURPOSE: A process for producing nonstructural 5-1.2 protein of hepatitis C virus(HCV) is provided, thereby mass-producing the nonstructural 5-1.2 protein of HCV. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant fusion protein is produced by fusing nonstructural 5-1.2 protein of hepatitis C virus having the amino acid sequence of figure 1 and ubiquitin. A DNA encoding the recombinant fusion protein has the nucleotide sequence of figure 1. An expression vector ptrpH-UB-NS5-1.2 contains the DNA encoding the recombinant fusion protein. A transformed E. coli is produced by transformation with the expression vector ptrpH-UB-NS5-1.2. The nonstructural 5-1.2 protein of hepatitis C virus fused with ubiquitin is produced by cultivating the transformed E. coli.
