PURPOSE: The subject composition having improved transparency and heat resistance as compared to conventional polypropylene resin compositions by adding a sorbitol-based nucleating agent to highly stereoregular polypropylene resin is provided, which is suitable for use requiring transparency of products which produce heat such as electric range, coffee maker, iron or the like. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises 100 parts by highly stereoregular polypropylene resin having a melt index of 5 to 30 g/10min, a molecular weight dispersion of 7 to 12 measured by gel permeation chromatography and a stereoregular index of more than 96% and 0.15 to 0.4 parts by weight of a sorbitol-based nucleating agent. The sorbitol-based nucleating agent is benzylidene sorbitol, methylbenzylidene sorbitol, ethylbenxylidene or 3,4-dimethylbenzylidene sorbitol. An antioxidant, a heat resistant stabilizer, a weather resistant stabilizer, an antistatic agent, a lubricant, a pigment and a dye can be added to the composition. |
