The filter arrangement has a groove and tongue connection(16,17) between the installation edge(13) of the filter housing(10) and end face of the filter frame(15). Locking holes(18) are provided in the filter housing and protruding locking components(19) on the filter frame which engage in the holes by a shoulder(191) projecting crosswise in relation to the frame axis. The locking component may be a rigid nose(20) projecting from the filter frame's outer face facing away from the filter component(14).
