<p>In order to obtain an excellent sound quality and excellent picture quality which is free from crosstalk from a track adjacent to a target track by preventing a Hi-Fi head from picking up a third track from the target track and in order to effect a special reproduction without using a field memory in a long time recording mode which provides five or more times the recording time of a standard recording mode without reducing the track pitch of the Hi-Fi head in a magnetic recording/reproducing device, when an image in the long time mode of five or more times is recorded, a pair of standard/triple-mode double-azimuth system heads are used for recording, a head which is exclusively for reproduction and has a head width smaller than the width of the recording track is provided and, further, 4 heads of conventional double-azimuth system are used.</p> |
