The method involves generating at least one temp.-constant and at least one temp.-proportional DC using a temp.-constant voltage. An external reference resistance (4) is used to produce both the temp.-constant and the temp.-proportional current. A band gap voltage (1) is used as a temp.-constant voltage. Independent claims are also included for a circuit for generating bias currents for integrated transistor circuits, for an HF mixer and for an integrated mobile radio unit containing a mixer.
