An ink-jet recorder comprises recording electrodes and control electrodes alternately disposed on a board, an ink having a color agent dispersed in a solvent, the ink being fed such that it flows on the recording electrodes in the direction of the length of the recording electrodes, an ink circulating section for recovering the ink as the latter is discharged from the front ends of the recording electrodes, whereby a high-definition image is obtained without involving deviation of the ink-landing position on the recording medium.
