PURPOSE: A method and a device for managing a vehicle are provided to reliably manage a vehicle by informing a driver of all information about a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Engine RPM, fuel consumption, mileage, battery charge/discharge fatigue, used time of parts and consumption articles, the number of use, the voltage of a battery, the ambient temperature, the information detected from the cooling water temperature, basic management information requested in the designing of a vehicle, and the life span of a standard battery are operated by a microprocessor. A driver decides the check-up and replacement time depending on the information. If a vehicle is released lately, warming-up state and excessive engine RPM warning, the state of a battery, the distance available with the remaining fuel, total engine mileage, total fuel mileage, over-speed warning, and mileage are informed to the driver.
