METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC MAIL DEPLOYMENT

A system for electronic mail message deployment on the Internet. A message is sent over an electronic mail network. When read by an electronic mail client, the message brings in content over an electronic content network. The content is displayed by the electronic mail client. The message may be composed of either a script which brings in the content or a script which invokes an applet to bring in the content. The script or applet may bring in the content by either requesting the content from a content server or invoking a servlet on a content server. The script or applet may also have an interactive component which may be used to collect information from the recipient.
