<p>A cover-like carrier (10) for a key (30) is designed for protecting accommodation of the key. Carrier (10) and key (30) is connected to each other through a cord (26) which upon spring effect is coilable on a drum-shaped coil (28) and the connection place thereof with the key (30) forms a 'thickening' having a larger lateral dimension than such a hole in an annular part (24) of a slide-shaped operating knob (22) which is dimensioned with a larger cross section than the cord (26). The operating knob (24) is displaceable from an upper position, corresponding to completely withdrawn key (30), to a lower position, corresponding to a key (30) projecting at least partially. With the carrier (10) mounted at a high level, the key can be gripped in this position by an adult person and pulled out from the carrier and away therefrom against a resilient counter force from the spring-influenced drum coil (28), down to a locking mechanism to be unlocked/locked.</p> |
