The invention aims at finding a new use of radiolatelled 1,4-(diphenilalkyl)piperazine derivatives. Specifically, a brain sigma-1 receptor-binding ligand consisting of a compound of general formula (I) or a salt thereof, particularly preferably compound (II) or a salt thereof, and exhibiting high affinity and selectivity for the receptor: wherein R<1> and R<2> are each independently lower alkoxy, with the proviso that at least either of R<1> and R<2> is lower alkoxy containing a carbon atom having a mass number of 11; and A and B are each independently lower alkylene.
