The closeable opening (5) of the upper part (2) of the housing is connected exclusively with the third chamber (7) when the upper and lower parts are closed. The liquid filter has a housing comprising a detachable upper part (2) that is sealed to lower part (1). The inner chamber of the filter housing is divided by a cylindrical filter element (3) into a crude chamber (10) and a pure chamber (11) including the central hollow chamber of the filter element. The crude and pure chambers are connected outside of the housing to first and second chambers via an opening. The upper part has a closeable opening (5) through which a liquid can flow into a third chamber (7). The opening leading from the filter housing into the third chamber is closed by force with the upper and lower parts. The closeable opening of the upper part of the housing is connected exclusively with the third chamber when the upper and lower parts are closed.
