The present invention relates to laundry and laundry detergent compositions which comprise a fabric enhancement system which comprises one or more polyamines and a transition metal-containing dye protection system which comprises an oligomer formed from the reaction of an imidazole and a crosslinking agent, preferably epichlorohydrin. Said compositions provide fabric integrity benefits but mitigate the color fidelity problems which may be caused by the use of certain polyamines.
